  Cowboy Bebop

The impressionable Ryan Gosling as Spike Spiege in a cluster of sci-fi action, drama, comedy, and style.

Story: By far the most popular anime to arrive in the U.S. in 1999, and also one of best series of the 1990s. "Cowboy Bebop" follows Spike and Jet, a pair of suave bounty hunters who cruise the galaxy in the spaceship Bebop, so named because of their love for jazz. Soon, the pair hook up with Faye Valentine, a sexy bounty hunter who has something of a rivalry with Spike, as well as Ed and Ein, a young tomboy and her dog.

The talented Heath Ledger from downunda is our actor of choice to play Lion-O, the Lord of the Thudercats.

Story: The last remaining survivers of Thundera crash land on Third Earth. There they begin a new life, befriend various species, and construct a home/fortress called the Cat's Layer. The mutants responsible for the destruction of Thundera and its people become a new threat when they fall under the command of Mumm-Ra, a mummified centuries-old embodiment of evil. But Lion-O, the new leader of the Thundercats, with his weapon the "Sword of Omens", will give the Thundercats a fighting chance.
